Stoughton Celebrates Juneteenth 2026

Juneteenth celebrates Black culture, history and the end of slavery in the United States. It is a day to celebrate the freedom of all people, but also to acknowledge the legacy of racism and to work toward a more equitable society. Stoughton's Juneteenth celebration is a collaboration between neighbors, local non-profits and businesses who all work together to create a meaningful community gathering.

Sponsored by Eyes of Hope, join the celebration at the Stoughton United Methodist Church (lower level/grounds) at 525 Lincoln Street from 1 to 4p on Sunday, June 14. Past year's celebrations have included engaging activities, food and exhibits that showcase the richness of our community while honoring history, empowering local black-owned businesses and celebrating the vibrant contributions of black performers, artists and community leaders.
